Standing atop the rolling hills of The Ranch, it’s easy to picture a beautiful life here. The snowcapped top of Pikes Peak stands to the northwest. The Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Cristo range mark the southwestern horizon. Jimmy Camp Creek winds through the community, and, along the creek, mature gamble oak, cottonwood and cactus lend character vibrance to the landscape. Located less than 10 minutes east of I 25 via the Mesa Ridge Parkway exit, this new community is just 12 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport, 13 minutes from Peterson Air Force Base, 15 minutes from Fort Carson and 19 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs.

PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
Over the coming decades, La Plata Communities will oversee development of many thousands of new homes and hundreds of acres of commercial properties at The Ranch. And you can fully expect to see the acclaimed amenities La Plata has become famous for in other planned communities like Briargate, Cordera and The Farm. Trails, parks, pools, community gathering places and more will welcome families and bring neighbors together. The Ranch will encompass approximately 5,500 acres of land in the southerly portion of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area, east of Interstate 25 and south of Marksheffel Road. The property boasts spectacular Front Range views, picturesque rolling hills, and significant frontage along the Jimmy Camp Creek corridor. The creek traverses through a small portion of the overall property but is an important site feature due to the large mature trees and vegetation in this area. Williams Creek is also located on the property. Entitlements for the first 500+ acres of The Ranch are expected to be completed by mid-2021.
